The Open Society Foundation for Albania (Soros), in collaboration with the Ministry of Work and the Department of the Public Administration, has published the study “Increasing the employment of the students graduated abroad in the Albanian public administration”.
The organizers of the study have notified that, albeit some positive steps toward the employment of the graduated abroad in the public administration, the inclusion of this group of young people in the central as well as in the local administration, is becoming an acute problem.
The Department of the Public Administration, previously appointed from the Council of Ministers and actually a structure of the Ministry of the Interior, seems impotent to absorb the young people graduated abroad inside different levels of the administration, as well as unable to offer protection to those employed from the ex-socialist government.
The study comes to recommendations and draws the attention of the Albanian government, of the parliamentary groups, the main political parties and the civil society, aiming at the creation of larger a employment room and higher recruitment of the graduated abroad, in the public administration.
